3D Artist / Motion Designer for Enterprise Workstation Product Shorts

We are looking for a skilled 3D Artist / Motion Designer to help create short-form product videos for high-end computer and enterprise workstation builds. The videos will showcase workstation chassis, internal components, GPUs, CPUs, cooling systems, storage, and other hardware using clean, professional 3D animations. A key style we are looking for is an exploded-view effect, where the workstation and internal parts separate visually to highlight the components and specifications. What We Need We need someone who can create polished product shorts that include: - 3D workstation/product renders - Exploded-view animations of the chassis and internal components - Clean motion graphics showing product specs - Realistic component placement and hardware detailing - Short-form edits suitable for social media, ads, website content, and product listings - Professional lighting, camera movement, transitions, and final video editing Important Requirement You must have a strong understanding of computers, PC hardware, servers, or enterprise workstation products, or have a reliable workflow for sourcing, creating, or modifying 3D models of the components we use. Examples of parts may include: - Workstation chassis - Motherboards - NVIDIA GPUs - AMD EPYC / Intel Xeon CPUs - DDR5 memory - NVMe SSDs - Power supplies - Fans, AIO coolers, heatsinks, and cables Accuracy matters. These videos are for real enterprise workstation products, so the components need to look believable and technically appropriate. Required Skills The ideal candidate should be proficient in: - Blender, Cinema 4D, 3ds Max, Maya, or similar 3D modeling software - After Effects, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar editing software - Product visualization - 3D animation - Lighting and rendering - Motion graphics - Short-form video editing - Basic hardware/product research Nice to Have Experience creating content for: - PC builds - Workstations - Servers - GPUs - Technology products - Product configurators - Exploded-view technical animations - E-commerce product videos Deliverables For each project, we may need: - 10–30 second product shorts - 3D exploded-view animations - Spec callout graphics - Final edited video files - Source/project files when requested - Still render images for product listings or marketing Budget Hourly rate: $10–$25/hr, depending on experience and quality of portfolio.
