Asana PMO Workflow Consultant / Asana Implementation Expert

We are looking for an experienced Asana consultant to support the design, configuration, and implementation of a PMO and project delivery management setup in Asana. The objective is to operationalize our project delivery lifecycle by standardizing project intake, delivery tracking, timesheets, financial visibility, resource planning, dashboards, and executive reporting. Scope of Work: 1-Asana PMO Setup and Project Templates -Configure standardized Asana project templates for implementation projects. -Set up work plans, milestones, payments, expenses, risks, issues, approvals, and project documentation structure. -Define custom fields for project status, stage, priority, effort, cost, revenue, margin, invoicing, and ownership. 2-Salesforce to Asana Workflow -Design or support the workflow for creating Asana projects from Salesforce opportunities. -Map key Salesforce fields to Asana fields, including client name, project value, start date, owner, project category, and division. -Support visibility of pipeline and closed/won opportunities where applicable. 3-Timesheets in Asana -Configure Asana-based timesheet submission for consultants. -Include fields such as project/task, date, hours, description, billable/non-billable status, and consultant name. -Design approval workflow, reporting, and audit trail for timesheets. 4-Resource Planning and Availability -Propose a practical setup for assigning resources based on skills, availability, workload, and planned vacations. -Support visibility of resource capacity across active and upcoming projects. 5-Dashboards, Reporting, and Power BI -Configure Asana dashboards and portfolio views for project status, progress, costs, margin, invoicing, risks, and milestone payments. -Support Power BI reporting using Asana native connector where possible. -Set up alerts or notifications for milestone slippage, overdue tasks, and critical project risks. 6-Governance, Training, and Handover -Prepare simple playbooks/SOPs for project managers, finance, delivery teams, and leadership. -Provide training sessions for Asana users and internal admins. -Support UAT, final adjustments, and handover to internal administrators. Expected Deliverables: Asana PMO workspace structure. Standard project templates. Custom fields and workflow rules. Timesheet workflow. Resource planning approach. Portfolio views and dashboards. Salesforce-to-Asana workflow design/support. Power BI reporting support. User training and admin handover documentation. Required Experience: Proven experience implementing Asana for PMO, consulting, delivery, or professional services teams. Strong knowledge of Asana portfolios, dashboards, custom fields, automations, approvals, and reporting. Experience with Salesforce-to-Asana workflows is preferred. Experience with Power BI reporting and Asana data structure is preferred. Understanding of project governance, timesheets, resource planning, financial tracking, and executive reporting.
