AI-Assisted Asset Prep (Icon Extraction & Reformatting)

AI-savvy asset designer - extract and reformat finished icons/graphics into web-ready SVG, transparent PNG and WebP (high volume, milestone-based, ongoing) READ BEFORE QUOTING - THIS IS AI-ASSISTED REFORMATTING, NOT ORIGINAL DESIGN All the graphics already exist. They were created with AI image tools and look exactly as they should. We are NOT asking you to design anything from scratch, and we do NOT want icons manually redrawn. Your job is to extract, clean up, reformat, and web-optimize these finished elements into ready-to-use assets - primarily by using AI tools to regenerate, vectorize, or isolate them. We will provide the full design as a reference, plus examples of the approach we already use. Please scope this as AI-assisted asset extraction - not design, and not manual recreation. THE WORK A detailed product landing page. Most of the work is preparing the distinct icons; the backgrounds are largely an AI generate-and-isolate task. Approximate volume: - Distinct icons: ~240 (does not include reusable elements like checkmarks). A mix of styles - some are detailed/rendered thumbnails, others are simple flat line icons. - CTA buttons - large: ~3 - CTA buttons - video / media / navigation: ~5 - Sliders / galleries: ~4 (image sets; thumbnails can be auto-generated) - Section backgrounds (foreground removed, AI-generated): ~24 WHAT YOU WILL DO 1. Icons (~240) - format depends on the icon; it is a combination, not one size fits all: - Detailed / rendered icons (photoreal or 3D-style thumbnails): deliver both a high-quality transparent PNG and a web-optimized WebP. - Simple, flat, single-color line icons (e.g., trust badges, small UI glyphs): SVG (already web-ready, crisp at any size, tiny file). - Assess each icon and deliver the right format(s). Workflow is AI-assisted: regenerate with an AI tool that outputs transparency/vector, or isolate and remove the background in Photoshop/AI, then export. We do NOT want manual redrawing of icons that AI can produce quickly. 2. Section backgrounds (~24): generate with AI (remove the foreground from the original image and have the AI produce the clean background only), delivered as transparent PNG plus web-optimized WebP. We will share examples of how we have already done this. 3. Buttons (8): clean transparent assets (PNG plus WebP, or SVG if flat). 4. Slider/gallery image sets (4): prepared/exported as PNG plus WebP; thumbnails auto-generated where possible. DELIVERY - READY TO HAND STRAIGHT TO OUR DEVELOPER We do NOT do any file handling or optimization on our end, so everything must arrive production-ready: - Flat/simple icons: SVG. - Detailed icons, backgrounds, and all images: both a high-quality transparent PNG and a web-optimized WebP. - Correct transparency, sensible dimensions/resolution, and proper compression on every file. NAMING Name each asset as: number - section - description (the page is organized into named sections). Examples: - 01-hero-add-to-cart.svg - 02-trust-lifetime-updates.svg - 03-features-heater.webp (and 03-features-heater.png) - 06-slider-interior-01.webp OUT OF SCOPE - Original / from-scratch design (everything already exists). - Manual redrawing of icons (use AI). - Third-party brand logos (e.g., financing/payment marks) - these come from the brand's official assets and should not be recreated. - Copywriting (text is placeholder; provided for blocking purposes). - Page build and design-file handoff (handled separately by other specialists). MUST-HAVE SKILLS AND TOOLS - Photoshop, including working with layers and isolating individual elements from a flat/layered file. - Hands-on experience with the AI image tools used here: ChatGPT / GPT Image and Google Nano Banana (used to create the source graphics). - Producing SVG (vector), clean transparent PNG, and web-optimized WebP at volume, with tools such as Recraft and Ideogram. - Web optimization: proper compression, correct dimensions/resolution, and clean, production-ready exports. SCREENING QUESTIONS (PLEASE ANSWER ALL) 1. Which AI image tools have you used - specifically ChatGPT/GPT Image, Google Nano Banana, Recraft, and Ideogram - and for what kind of work? 2. Our icons are a mix: some are simple flat line icons, others are detailed/rendered. Show 1-2 examples if you can - a flat icon turned into clean SVG and a detailed icon extracted to transparent PNG plus WebP - and explain how you decide which format to use. 3. Have you extracted/isolated individual elements (icons, graphics) from a flat or layered Photoshop file and delivered production-ready, web-optimized files for a website? Briefly describe your workflow. 4. Faced with ~240 distinct icons, how would you batch them efficiently with AI instead of redrawing by hand? HOW WE WILL WORK - This is a fixed-price, milestone-based project - NOT hourly. - Milestones will likely be broken down by page section or grouping, so the work moves in clean batches. - Selection: candidates who answer the screening questions well will be shortlisted. We will then share the full design/work product with the top picks so they can review the actual sections and quote the milestones. We select on the strength of both the screening answers and the milestone quote. - This is the first of several similar pages, so there is strong ongoing potential for the right person.
