Audio Editors - Language Program for Families

We are seeking an exceptional audio editor to help families talk in a foreign language! If you're passionate about crafting high-quality audio experiences, this opportunity is for you. TalkBox.Mom is dedicated to helping families talk in a foreign language. Our program includes a mobile Companion App with native speaker audio for all the phrases in our subscription boxes. .:: Your Role ::. As our audio editor, you’ll closely collaborate with our project manager. Knowing that our voice-over artists record each sentence word by word first, then the full sentence, your responsibilities will include: - Combining word-by-word parts and full sentences that belong together in order to export one file per sentence, and adding silences long enough to repeat after each word and each full sentence. - Removing retakes, false starts, and any other unwanted audio left in the recording so that only the final approved take remains. - Naming audio files according to the audio numbers provided in the reference sheet to ensure the correct phrases are matched to the correct audio in the app. - Verifying that recorded phrases match the reference sheet and reporting any discrepancies requiring retakes from our voice-over artists. - Providing feedback on raw audio quality to maintain our high standards. - Delivering high-quality MP3 files that are free from distracting noise, and follow the specifications provided by the project manager. .:: Languages ::. The audio files you'll be working with may be in any of the following languages: - Spanish - French - German - Italian - Mandarin - Japanese - Hebrew - Romanian - Portuguese - Korean - Russian Proficiency in one or more of these languages is a plus, but it is not required. For languages that use a non-Latin alphabet (Mandarin, Japanese, Korean, Hebrew, and Russian), phonetic transcriptions will be provided to help you verify the recordings against the reference sheet. .:: Your Application ::.
