Audio Engineer Needed to Assemble Voice-Over Recordings for Audiobook in Pro Tools

ENGLISH LANGUAGE We are looking for an experienced audio engineer/editor to help assemble voice-over recordings for an audiobook production. Length of audio book: Approximately 2 hours and 10 minutes Word count: 21,497 total words The voice recordings have already been completed. We need someone to take the recorded audio files and, using the script as a guide, place the voice recordings in the correct order inside Pro Tools. This is audio-only assembly/editing. No sound design, music, mixing, or final mastering is required at this stage. Scope of Work The selected audio engineer will be responsible for: -Reviewing the provided script -Importing the voice-over recordings into Pro Tools -Placing the recordings in the correct sequence according to the script -Organizing the Pro Tools session clearly and professionally -Making sure each line is placed in the proper order -Cleaning up obvious gaps, false starts, or incorrect takes where needed -Labeling tracks and clips in a clear, organized manner -Delivering the completed Pro Tools session files Requirements The ideal candidate should have: -Strong experience working in Pro Tools -Experience editing voice-over, audiobook, podcast, dialogue, or scripted audio -Excellent attention to detail -Ability to follow a script precisely -Strong organizational skills -Ability to work independently and meet deadlines -Reliable communication Project Details -The voices are already recorded -The script will be provided -This is for an audiobook / dramatized audio production -The primary task is to assemble the audio in order -Pro Tools experience is required Deliverables -Organized Pro Tools session with the voice recordings placed in script order -Clearly labeled tracks and clips -Any notes regarding missing lines, unclear takes, or audio issues discovered during assembly To Apply Please include: -Examples of similar audio editing or audiobook/dialogue assembly work -Your experience with Pro Tools -Your availability -Your typical turnaround time We are looking for someone detail-oriented, reliable, and experienced in organizing scripted voice-over recordings into a clean Pro Tools session.
