Audio Transcription | remote transcription and annotation project

We have just launched Audio Transcription, a large transcription and annotation project for a major tech client and we are building a team of around 200 people to work on it. Some background. Our client’s AI transcription system had trouble with these recordings, so they need human listeners to do what it could not. Working remotely in our online tool, you listen to a short audio clip (most are a few seconds long), type out what you hear and add labels to mark anything unusual: unclear speech, background noise, two people talking at once and similar. You also answer a few quick questions about the recording, such as how many speakers you heard. Then the next clip appears. This is work that automatic systems could not get right, which is exactly why it needs human ears and human judgment. Your transcripts and labels show the client where their system fell short and why, so every clip you complete directly improves their technology. The task itself is simple to learn: type what you hear, mark what you notice.
