Australia-Based Call Taker / Appointment Setter

We’re looking for someone based in Australia—or someone with a natural Australian accent and a strong understanding of Australian communication—to call homeowners who may be interested in selling their property. Your goal will be to understand each homeowner’s situation, gather the relevant property details and book suitable appointments for our team. As our calling process is still being developed, you’ll also help create and refine a practical call script based on real conversations, recurring questions and homeowner feedback. What you’ll be doing - Call homeowners who may be interested in selling their property - Build trust with hesitant or sensitive homeowners - Ask thoughtful questions to understand their circumstances and property - Gather and record accurate lead and property information - Qualify opportunities and booking suitable appointments - Create and improve a natural, effective call script - Identify common objections, questions and patterns in lead quality - Follow up with homeowners when required - Help us develop a simple and reliable calling process What we’re looking for - Natural, confident and professional Australian phone communication - Strong empathy and the ability to build rapport quickly - Comfortable leading conversations without relying on a rigid script - Reliable and able to complete callbacks consistently - Strong listening, questioning and note-taking skills - Organised, proactive and comfortable helping build a process from the ground up - Basic confidence using shared documents and online tools Experience in sales, property, call centres, lead qualification or appointment setting will be highly regarded. Hours and setup - Maximum 2 hours per day, with the potential for additional hours - Flexible schedule, provided new enquiries are contacted consistently and promptly - Calls can be completed in one daily block or throughout the day - A virtual Australian mobile number will be provided - Lead and property information will initially be managed through a simple shared system while the longer-term workflow is developed Application requirement - To be considered, please include a short Loom video introducing yourself, outlining your relevant experience and explaining why you would be a strong fit for the role. - Applications submitted without a Loom video will not be reviewed.
