Australian Power Platform Contractor — Power Automate / SharePoint / Azure Document Intelligence

This opportunity relates to a Microsoft-based automation project for a mining services reporting and invoicing workflow. I am currently creating the proof of concept internally. The POC demonstrates a report-to-invoice workflow, where structured operational reports are processed using Azure Document Intelligence, Power Automate and SharePoint to produce invoice-ready outputs. If the client proceeds beyond the POC, the broader project scope may include: 1. Report-to-invoice automation 2. Report-to-database automation with shift-by-shift comparison 3. Database management, reporting and shift comparison logic 4. Ongoing supply, maintenance and improvement of the automation environment 5. Rollout and support across multiple operating sites This posting is to identify and interview an Australian-based Power Platform / Microsoft automation contractor before the client pitch, so I can confirm potential delivery capability if the project is approved. The successful contractor would be considered for the role of primary hands-on developer for the delivery phase. The technical framework and architecture would be guided by a senior Microsoft / Power Platform architect. I would remain responsible for client communication, mining workflow interpretation, operational validation and project direction, while also contributing to the build where appropriate. The role may include: * building and maintaining Power Automate cloud flows * integrating Azure Document Intelligence / Form Recognizer * configuring HTTP actions and result polling * parsing JSON and extracting structured report data * designing and maintaining SharePoint lists and document libraries * building report-to-database workflows * applying business rules, rate logic and invoice calculations * generating invoice-style PDF or document outputs * creating validation and error-handling processes * supporting shift comparison and reporting functions * documenting the build for handover, maintenance and future scaling * working within an architect-defined framework * supporting rollout across multiple sites if the project expands The current POC is not being outsourced. It is being created internally to validate the concept and support the client pitch. If the project is approved, this role would support the next stage of delivery as the primary implementation developer. The initial engagement would be subject to client approval. Early work may begin as a defined delivery package, with potential for ongoing work if the pilot expands across multiple sites. Australian residents only. Rate $80-$130 p/h AUD
