 (preferably Melbourne) Project Type: Residential Construction Required We are seeking an experienced Australian-based Residential Construction Estimator or Quantity Surveyor to prepare detailed trade cost breakdowns for 3 x residential home designs. Future scope available based on sufficient delivery of first 3. Project Scope We will provide architectural plans for each home. The successful applicant will: ● Review architectural drawings and floorplans. ● Prepare a detailed trade-by-trade cost estimate for each home. ● Use current Australian labour and material rates. ● Provide three pricing scenarios for each design: ● Low Cost / Budget Build ● Mid-Range Build ● Premium / High-End Build Required Deliverables For each home design, provide: ● Total estimated build cost ● Cost per square metre ● Detailed trade cost breakdown ● Low, Mid and High specification pricing options ● Excel-based summary spreadsheet (template will be provided) ● Assumptions and exclusions noted where applicable Trade Categories The estimate will include (a specific template will be provided): ● Site Works ● Earthworks & Foundations ● Concrete / Slab ● Structural Framing ● Roofing ● Cladding ● Windows & Doors ● Insulation ● Internal Linings ● Flooring ● Joinery & Cabinetry ● Plumbing ● Electrical ● Painting ● Fixtures & Fittings ● External Works ● Preliminaries ● Builder’s Margin Essential Requirements ● Must be based in Australia (preferably Melbourne) ● Demonstrated experience estimating Australian residential construction projects. ● Strong understanding of current Australian labour and material costs. ● Experience producing builder estimates, QS reports, feasibility studies or detailed cost plans. ● Able to commence immediately and deliver within a short timeframe.
