AutoCAD / DWG Specialist Needed to Flatten 3D CAD Files into Exact 2D Architectural Drawings Job Description We are looking for an experienced AutoCAD / CAD drafting specialist to convert existing 3D CAD .DWG files into clean, production-ready 2D architectural drawing sets. The work requires flattening the 3D DWG geometry into accurate 2D drawings, including: * Floor plans * Reflected ceiling plans * All interior and exterior elevations * All sections * All detail drawings The final 2D drawings must be absolutely precise and exact to the original 3D CAD files. This is not a visual tracing or approximate drafting task. The flattened drawings must match the source 3D geometry exactly, with no dimensional deviation, no manual interpretation, no tolerance drift, and no margin of error permitted. Precision, cleanliness, and technical CAD accuracy are mandatory. Required Output Standards The final drawings must meet the following requirements: * Final files must be delivered in AutoCAD .DWG format. * Units must be set to Imperial feet and inches. * All 3D geometry must be fully flattened to true 2D geometry. * No remaining Z-axis geometry or unintended 3D objects. * Final 2D linework must be exact to the original 3D source files. * No dimensional deviation, approximation, visual estimation, or tolerance drift is acceptable. * Drawings must use single polylines where applicable. * No overlapping, duplicate, or stacked lines caused by the flattening process. * No overlapping points, stray points, or fragmented geometry. * No unnecessary blocks, proxy objects, or corrupted CAD elements. * Plans, reflected ceiling plans, elevations, sections, and details must be clearly organized. * Layering must be logical, clean, and easy to edit. * Drawings must be ready for annotation, dimensioning, and architectural production. Scope of Work The selected freelancer will: 1. Review the provided 3D CAD .DWG files. 2. Flatten the 3D model geometry into exact 2D views. 3. Generate floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, elevations, sections, and detail drawings. 4. Clean all resulting linework. 5. Remove duplicate, overlapping, stacked, or redundant lines and points. 6.
