AutoCAD & Sketchup Expert

Job Posting: AutoCAD Draftsman and SketchUp Expert We are seeking a skilled and efficient draftsman with strong expertise in 2D AutoCAD drafting and SketchUp 3D modeling to support our landscape architecture design team on a part-time or supplemental basis. Position Overview This role is focused specifically on production-level 2D CAD drafting and 3D SketchUp modeling. The ideal candidate is fast, accurate, self-directed, and actively integrates AI tools into their workflow to maximize efficiency and output quality. Key Responsibilities: Produce precise 2D CAD plans, site plans, and construction drawings in AutoCAD Develop and refine 3D models and renderings in SketchUp Ensure all deliverables meet project specifications and design intent Maintain organized project files and documentation Collaborate with our US-based design team during office hours (Central Time) Qualifications: High proficiency in AutoCAD for 2D drafting and site plan production Strong SketchUp modeling skills with demonstrated speed and accuracy Experience in landscape architecture, architecture, or a related field preferred Effective communicator who can work within established project timelines Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving Actively uses AI tools as part of their design and production workflow Candidate already has AutoCAD and Skethcup software on their system and ready to use.
