Automated Web Developer for Car Listings

Hello, I already have a bot that monitors publicly available vehicle listings and I’m looking for an experienced developer to improve and enhance it so it works more reliably and efficiently in near real time. Project Overview The existing application monitors listings and identifies newly posted vehicles that match configurable criteria, and sends instant notifications when qualifying listings are found. I need someone who can refine the current system, improve its performance, and add any missing functionality. Core Requirements • Improve the existing bot so it can monitor publicly available vehicle listings more effectively. • Detect newly posted reasonably possible while respecting each platform’s technical limitations and applicable terms. • Allow configurable filters including: • Maximum asking price • Make, model, and year • Mileage • Distance radius (for example, within 200 miles of Los Angeles) • Include/exclude keywords • Compare asking prices against configurable market values. • Notify me only when a vehicle is priced at least $1,000 below or equal value its configured market value. • Capture available listing information such as: • Vehicle title • Asking price • Mileage • Location • Listing URL • Seller information (when publicly available) • Listing timestamp • Send instant SMS notifications (telegram). • Provide a simple configuration interface (dashboard or editable configuration file) for managing filters, pricing data, and notification settings. • Deploy the improved application to a reliable cloud platform such as AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, or Apify. • Provide documentation covering deployment, configuration, and routine maintenance, along with reasonable post-delivery support for minor updates. Listing Quality Filters Please implement keyword-based filters to reduce unwanted listings, including terms such as: • Salvage • Rebuilt • Parts • Project • No title • Lien • Mechanic special If supported by the data source, use any available structured information related to title status as an additional filter. I understand that no automated solution can perfectly determine title status, and I am comfortable performing manual verification when necessary. Budget Up to $500 for development, testing, deployment, and documentation. Timeline Ideally completed within 1–2 weeks.
