AI Automation & Business Process Architect – Help Us Build a New AI Services Division About Micro Tech Namibia Micro Tech Namibia is an established Information and Communication Technology company based in Namibia. We have been operating since 2009 and provide ICT infrastructure, hardware, software, Microsoft solutions, networking, cybersecurity, managed IT support and technology services to businesses across Namibia. We are now looking to expand our scope of services by establishing a new AI Automation & Business Process Solutions division. This is not intended to be a once-off automation project. We are looking for an experienced and entrepreneurial AI Automation & Business Process Specialist who would be interested in working with Micro Tech Namibia on a long-term basis and helping us build this new division from the ground up. You can be located anywhere in the world. What matters to us is expertise, communication, reliability, commercial thinking and the desire to build something meaningful together. What We Want to Build Our vision is to help businesses identify repetitive, inefficient and time-consuming processes and then use AI, automation and systems integration to make those operations faster, simpler and more cost-effective. Our target market includes organizations across multiple industries, including: * Mining * Construction * Fishing * Financial and professional services * Dental and medical practices * Retail * Hospitality * Municipalities * SMEs and larger corporate organizations We don't simply want to sell customers "AI." We want to understand how their businesses operate, identify inefficiencies and then develop practical automation solutions that deliver measurable business value. What We Need From You The successful candidate should be able to work with us through the complete automation lifecycle: Discovery → Business Process Mapping → Identify Inefficiencies → Automation Opportunity Analysis → Solution Design → ROI Assessment → Prototype → Implementation → Testing → Documentation → User Training → Measurement & Continuous Improvement You should be comfortable analyzing an existing manual business process and determining where AI and automation can realistically improve it. Examples could include but not limited to: * Automating customer inquiries and follow-ups * Automated quotation and approval workflows * Invoice and purchase-order processing * CRM automation * Sales lead management * Customer onboarding * Employee onboarding * Document processing and data extraction * Management reporting * Microsoft 365 workflows * Approval processes * Helpdesk automation * AI-powered internal knowledge assistants * Appointment and reminder systems * ERP and accounting system integrations * Automated operational reports * AI agents and business assistants Required Core Skills We are particularly interested in candidates with strong capabilities in: 1. Business Process Automation 2. Workflow Automation 3. Microsoft Power Automate 4. API Integration 5. Artificial Intelligence / AI Development Experience with technologies such as Microsoft Power Apps, Copilot Studio, Azure AI, OpenAI API, n8n, Make.com, Zapier, Python, SQL, CRM systems, ERP integrations, OCR and document automation would be highly advantageous. Initial Assignment – Micro Tech Namibia Before we start implementing solutions for our customers, we want to use Micro Tech Namibia itself as the first automation project. You would work directly with our Managing Director and team to analyze how Micro Tech Namibia currently operates. We want you to identify areas where we are wasting time, duplicating work or performing processes manually that could be automated. This could include areas such as: * Sales enquiries * Customer follow-ups * Quotation processes * Procurement * Purchase orders * Support ticket management * Technician job reporting * SLA reporting * Asset management * Customer onboarding * Recurring billing processes * Management reporting * Internal approvals We want to prove the model within our own organization before offering these solutions commercially to our clients. What Success Looks Like We are not measuring success by the number of automations created. We want to measure: * Hours saved * Manual processes eliminated * Faster turnaround times * Reduction in human error * Improved customer experience * Improved visibility for management * Cost savings * Productivity improvements * Revenue opportunities Every automation should solve a genuine business problem. How We Like to Work Communication is extremely important to us. We want a specialist who can understand our objective, investigate the problem and recommend the best solution. The Long-Term Opportunity Our intention is to build this capability into a permanent new service pillar within Micro Tech Namibia. The right person could potentially become our long-term AI Automation & Business Process specialist/lead, working remotely as part of our extended team and helping us develop solutions for customers throughout Namibia and potentially the broader African market. As the division grows, this could potentially expand into a larger team consisting of automation developers, AI specialists, integration specialists and business analysts.
