AI & Automation Developer (Short-Term Project) We are seeking an experienced AI & Automation Developer to design and build an intelligent workflow automation solution that integrates Gmail, CRM systems, and business processes. Project Overview We receive a high volume of emails and operational requests that currently require significant manual effort. We are looking for someone who can leverage AI, automation, and workflow technologies to create a smart system that can classify, process, and action information automatically. Key Responsibilities Integrate Gmail with AI-powered email classification and routing Automatically categorise emails based on content, urgency, client, and business rules Connect email workflows with our CRM system Develop intelligent matching logic to compare incoming requests against CRM data Build automated shift/resource matching workflows Create data validation and matching processes across multiple systems Design dashboards, notifications, and exception handling processes Recommend and implement the most suitable technology stack Required Skills & Experience Proven experience developing AI and automation solutions Experience with Gmail API, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, or similar platforms Strong knowledge of CRM integrations (Salesforce, HubSpot, Dynamics 365, Zoho, etc.) Experience with AI/LLM technologies such as OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, or similar Workflow automation expertise using tools such as Make, n8n, Zapier, Power Automate, or custom development Experience working with APIs, webhooks, and data integration Strong understanding of data security, privacy, and access controls Desired Outcome The final solution should be able to: Read and categorise incoming emails automatically Extract key information from emails and attachments Match requests against CRM records Automatically identify and recommend suitable shifts/resources based on predefined criteria Trigger workflows, notifications, and actions with minimal human intervention Provide audit trails and reporting To Apply Please provide: Examples of similar AI and automation projects you have delivered Technologies and platforms you would recommend for this solution Estimated timeframe and project approach Hourly rate or fixed-price proposal This is a short-term project with the potential for ongoing work as additional AI and automation initiatives are identified.
