AI Automation Specialist (Contractor Industry) Position Overview We are building a fast-growing AI automation company that serves contractors (HVAC, plumbing, roofing, electrical, remodeling, concrete, landscaping, etc.). We are looking for an experienced AI Automation Specialist to design, build, and maintain AI-powered systems that help our clients capture leads, answer calls, book appointments, and automate customer communication. Our business model consists of a one-time setup fee plus recurring monthly management and optimization. ⸻ Responsibilities AI Voice & Call Automation * Build AI voice agents capable of: * Answering inbound calls. * Qualifying leads. * Booking appointments. * Answering frequently asked questions. * Handling missed calls and after-hours calls. * Transferring urgent calls to team members when needed. SMS & Customer Communication * Create automated SMS workflows. * Send appointment reminders and confirmations. * Build missed-call text back systems. * Create review request sequences. * Build lead nurturing campaigns. * Re-engage old leads and inactive customers. CRM & Integrations * Set up and customize CRM systems. * Integrate with: * GoHighLevel * Twilio * OpenAI * Vapi * ElevenLabs * Google Calendar * Calendly * Zapier * Stripe * Build API integrations and automation workflows. AI Chatbots & Customer Support * Create AI chatbots for websites and messaging platforms. * Train bots to answer common customer questions. * Develop workflows that improve response times and lead conversion. Maintenance & Optimization * Monitor AI systems and troubleshoot issues. * Continuously improve prompts, workflows, and customer experiences. * Update automations based on client requests. * Ensure high uptime and reliability. * Recommend and implement new AI features and tools. ⸻ Required Skills * Experience building AI voice agents and chatbots. * Familiarity with GoHighLevel, Twilio, OpenAI, Vapi, ElevenLabs, and Zapier. * Strong understanding of API integrations and workflow automation. * Experience with SMS campaigns and appointment scheduling systems. * Ability to troubleshoot and optimize AI systems. * Strong communication skills and attention to detail. ⸻ Nice to Have * Experience working with contractor businesses. * Knowledge of sales funnels and lead generation. * Experience with reputation management and review automation. * Familiarity with CRM systems and pipeline management. ⸻ Compensation * Project-based or hourly. * Long-term opportunity with room for growth. * Opportunity to become a lead developer as the company scales. ⸻ About Us We are building a leading AI automation company focused on helping contractors increase revenue and improve customer experience.
