AI Automation Specialist — HighLevel + n8n | Part-Time, Long-Term

I run an AI automation agency that builds lead follow-up systems, SMS chatbots, voice AI, database reactivation campaigns, and appointment booking automations for service businesses. Like HVAC companies, roofing contractors, law firms, mortgage brokers, med spas, etc. Businesses that spend money on ads and lose revenue because their follow-up is broken. I need someone who can build these systems, not someone I have to explain AI to. --- The Role You'll be building and maintaining automation systems, primarily inside HighLevel, with n8n handling the heavier logic and integrations. We also have a proprietary system that may be used at times. You'll start with my own sub-account, then we'll roll it out to clients. Ongoing work includes: - AI SMS chatbots that respond to new leads, qualify them, and book calls - Speed-to-lead workflows that fire within seconds of a form submission - 48-hour follow-up sequences that catch leads the sales team missed - After-hours voice AI setup and configuration - Database reactivation campaigns via SMS - Facebook/Instagram DM automation - Reputation management automations (review requests, responses) - Calendar booking integrations inside chat flows - Watching and tweaking all of the above as campaigns run Platforms you'll work in: HighLevel (GHL), n8n, OpenAI / Claude / other LLMs, Twilio or LC Phone, and whatever else the job calls for. --- The Test Task Before any paid work begins, I'll ask you to complete a small test task, paid at the agreed rate. You'll build an AI SMS chatbot in HighLevel that: - Triggers when a new lead submits a form (simulating an ad lead) - Asks qualifying questions about their business and what they're looking for - Tells them, naturally within the conversation, that this is a live example of what we offer (lead response + AI chat) - Books them on my calendar based on their preferred time, fully automated This is not a test of how fast you can build it. It's a test of whether you can think through the conversation flow and make it feel like a real, smooth interaction. --- What I'm Looking For - Solid, proven HighLevel experience: sub-account setup, workflows, AI chat, calendars, pipelines - n8n experience — building flows that connect GHL to external APIs, AI models, or databases - Familiarity with AI models and how to prompt them well inside automation flows - Someone who can work from a brief without hand-holding - Available part-time, with the expectation of more hours as client volume grows --- Rate $5–$10/hr depending on experience and quality of test task. Repeated performance bonuses on certain client projects. If you prefer a fixed monthly retainer for part-time work, I'm open to that conversation. Flexible hours.
