Automotive Hardware Specialist – Vehicle Module Analysis & Data Recovery

We are looking for an experienced Hardware Specialist with a background in automotive electronics and embedded systems to join our technical team. You will work closely with a software and programming team based in Alexandria and Cairo. About the Work: This role involves the technical analysis of vehicle control modules and PCBs. You will assess hardware to determine data storage characteristics, identify recoverable data, and develop nondestructive methodologies for data retrieval. All work involves authorized hardware provided directly by our team. Responsibilities: • Analyze vehicle ECUs, control modules, and PCBs for data recovery opportunities • Assess whether readable or recoverable data is present on provided hardware • Develop and document nondestructive approaches to retrieve stored data • Deliver written technical reports and methodology documentation to the wider team • Collaborate remotely with our software team throughout the analysis process What We’re Looking For: • Proven experience in automotive electronics or embedded systems hardware • Background in hardware analysis, PCB evaluation, or vehicle module diagnostics • Familiarity with data recovery techniques for embedded or secured storage • Strong documentation and communication skills • Experience with automotive forensics or ECU data recovery
