Automotive Parts Supply Chain Consultant

We're building a product for the salvage auto parts space and need a consultant from the aftermarket parts industry to help us navigate the fundamentals. Specifically, we need help with: Fitment and interchangeability: how fitment actually works, what data standards and systems are used (ACES/PIES, interchange databases, and others), and how to accurately match parts to vehicles Parts data : where to source clean fitment and catalog data, and how to structure it Supply and dropshipping : identifying reputable aftermarket dropship suppliers and distributors, and how to get set up with them (Keystone, Turn 14, and others you'd recommend) Industry guidance : best practices for sourcing, pricing, and operating in the aftermarket parts market You'd be a strong fit if you've worked in the aftermarket parts industry (distributor, supplier, parts retailer, or catalog/data side) and know the fitment data and supplier landscape firsthand.
