Azure Engineer for Client Projects

We are a technology consulting agency seeking a reliable, part-time Azure Engineer to partner with us on client deployments and cloud infrastructure projects. We are looking for a hands-on technical expert who can bridge the gap between architecture design and actual implementation. What You'll Be Doing: - Architecting and deploying specialized Azure environments for our clients. - Integrating Azure infrastructure with broader Microsoft ecosystems (e.g., Microsoft 365, Teams, or Dynamics environments). - Configuring and managing security, identity access, and compliance protocols. - Collaborating directly with our internal team to troubleshoot and optimize client systems. Required Tech Stack & Expertise: - Core Infrastructure: [e.g., Azure VMs, Virtual Networks, Azure SQL, App Services] - Identity & Security: [e.g., Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD), RBAC, Defender for Cloud] - Automation/IaC: [e.g., ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform] Communication: Fluent or Conversational in English, highly responsive (critical), and comfortable jumping on an occasional sync. Project Logistics: - Workload: Approximately 10-20 hours per week to start, with the potential to scale as we take on more client projects. - Schedule: Flexible, asynchronous work is fine, provided there is some working overlap with [US Arizona Time] for team syncs.
