I’m a licensed Benefits Advisor (Aflac supplemental benefits + SelectHealth group plans) based in Caldwell, Idaho, serving small and mid-size business owners — primarily in trades, construction, agriculture, and manufacturing with 5–25+ employees across the Treasure Valley. I also offer faith-aligned health cost-sharing options through OneShare and Zion Healthshare. These can serve as a strong pivot for prospects who find traditional coverage expensive (by coupling with Aflac supplemental benefits for a more affordable overall package) as well as a faith-based alternative to conventional insurance for churches and faith-oriented organizations. I need a reliable, professional cold caller to set qualified appointments and gather basic intake information from provided lead lists. You will NOT be selling, quoting, explaining plan details, or discussing any insurance or health cost-sharing specifics. Your role is strictly to secure time on my calendar with decision-makers and collect a few key facts so I can prepare accurate proposals. What you’ll do: * Call business owners, decision-makers, and church/faith-organization contacts from lead lists I provide (CSV format with name, company/organization, phone, and basic details) * Follow my provided script to introduce the opportunity and request a brief 15–20 minute discovery call or meeting with me * Ask 3–4 simple intake questions when the prospect is open (approximate employee count or congregation size, current benefits situation if mentioned, and decision/renewal timeframe) * Log every call outcome clearly in HubSpot (experience or knowledge of HubSpot is a plus; training and support provided if needed) * Schedule qualified appointments directly onto my calendar using the Calendly link I supply What you will NOT do: * Quote prices, explain plan details, or make any representations about Aflac, SelectHealth, OneShare, Zion Healthshare, or any other coverage or cost-sharing option * Offer gifts, discounts, incentives, or promises of any kind * Represent yourself as an agent, broker, or representative of Aflac, SelectHealth, OneShare, Zion Healthshare, or any insurance carrier or health-sharing ministry — you are a professional scheduling and intake assistant only Initial focus: Target industries and organizations include HVAC, plumbing, electrical, construction trades, agriculture, and manufacturing businesses in Canyon, Owyhee, Ada, and surrounding counties, plus churches and faith-based organizations. Lead lists will be provided in batches. Appointments will cover the full range of solutions I offer, including supplemental benefits, group plans, and faith-aligned health cost-sharing options that can address cost concerns through strategic packaging. Payment structure (activity-based & compliant): * $20 per qualified appointment set — defined as a decision-maker verbally agreeing to a specific date and time for a call or meeting with me, confirmed on my calendar * Paid via Upwork milestones based on logged outcomes and calendar confirmations I verify * Performance bonus opportunity: When the qualified appointments you set result in successful client enrollments, I will provide a success-based bonus (specific structure and amounts to be discussed with the selected candidate). This is tied to my actual client outcomes and enrollments, not a direct sales commission for the caller role. * This is strictly a task/activity-based fee structure — not a commission on any insurance or health-sharing enrollments (in full compliance with insurance licensing regulations) This is a part-time, task-based engagement to start (estimated 10–20 hours/week or per lead batch), with strong potential for ongoing weekly work based on consistent performance and results. Requirements: * Fluent, professional English with a confident, friendly cold-calling voice * Prior B2B cold calling or appointment-setting experience (insurance, financial services, or professional services background is a plus but not required) * Comfortable logging calls accurately (HubSpot knowledge/experience preferred) * Reliable availability during US Mountain Time business hours * Professional, ethical approach and strong follow-through on commitments Tools & materials I provide: * Lead lists (targeted to trades, construction, and church/faith-based organizations) * Call script + objection-handling notes * Calendly booking link * HubSpot access and logging guidance (training provided if needed) * Clear instructions and support To apply: Please submit a proposal that includes: * Your relevant cold calling or appointment-setting experience (especially B2B) * Your availability (hours per week and Mountain Time flexibility) * Your experience with HubSpot or similar CRMs (if any) * Confirmation you understand this is strictly scheduling/intake work with no sales, quoting, or discussion of plan details I’m looking for someone reliable who can deliver consistent, high-quality results and grow with the role.
