Summary

We are launching a regional digital e-commerce shipping platform in Canada designed to help independent online merchants dramatically reduce domestic carrier costs. We are seeking a highly motivated, front-facing B2B Lead Generation, Outreach, and Social Media Specialist to completely own our user acquisition and onboarding pipeline. CRITICAL RULE: INDEPENDENT FREELANCERS ONLY. We will not work with agencies, teams, white-label outsourcers, or account managers. You must be a solo operator executing 100% of the work yourself, under your own verified profile. Identity verification and strict transparency regarding contract data metrics are mandatory. No exceptions. Scope of Work & Weekly Deliverables Target Persona Sourcing: Utilize data stacks (such as StoreLeads, BuiltWith, Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and social communities) to build a clean, verified database of active Canadian e-commerce sellers (Shopify stores, Etsy boutique owners, Amazon FBM merchants, eBay resellers). End-to-End Onboarding (Full Accountability): You will receive direct, hands-on system training from the platform owner. Following training, you are fully responsible for the entire acquisition lifecycle—initiating cold outreach via DMs/messages, performing logistics rate comparisons, handling objections, and guiding landed prospects through registration until they actively process physical shipments on our platform. 3-Platform Social Media Management: Set up and build our official Facebook Page & Group, Instagram Page, and TikTok account from scratch. Content Frequency: Create and schedule a minimum of 2 value-driven visual/text posts per week (e.g., standard carrier rate comparisons, shipping hacks, margin-saving tips) across Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok using simple Canva or AI tools. (The same core creative content may be repurposed/cross-posted across channels to keep your workflow efficient). Daily Community Moderation: Log in 2–3 times daily during Canadian EST business hours to check notifications, approve group members, and promptly answer prospective client direct messages. Time Allocation: Expecting approximately 10 hours per week dedicated to the execution of this strategy. Compensation, Performance Targets & Contract Security This is a high-reward milestone contract with a major compounding financial upside: Guaranteed Fixed Base Retainer: $300 CAD per month flat rate, funded and paid out via bi-weekly Upwork fixed milestones of $150 CAD upon verification of deliverables. Strict Performance Target Floor: To maintain and renew this monthly contract retainer, you must meet a strict minimum baseline of 4 verified, active shipping clients secured to the platform per month (averaging 1 per week). An active client is defined as an onboarded merchant who successfully completes registration and actively processes real physical package volume through our shipping system. Uncapped Backend Volume Commission: To heavily reward your growth, we pay an ongoing monthly performance bonus of $0.20 CAD per package shipped by the clients you successfully onboard. As your portfolio of active regular shippers grows, this compounding volume bonus will be calculated against platform logs and paid out via the Upwork bonus feature at the end of each month.
