ABOUT THE ROLE We're looking for a seasoned B2B social media manager to own strategy and content creation for our organization. You'll partner closely with our team to produce polished, on-brand social content that drives whatever our current priority is — promoting an upcoming event, growing customer base, amplifying a research release, or building awareness around a leadership initiative. You bring the strategy and the craft; we review and approve. This is a focused, part-time engagement of approximately 10 hours per week. WHAT YOU'LL DO Develop monthly social media strategies aligned with our quarterly content calendar Draft polished, ready-to-publish posts for our team's review and approval. Approx 8 posts per week Design supporting graphics in Canva that adhere to our existing brand guidelines Edit video clips & photos from CXR events to create posts Schedule and publish approved content through Zoho Social Report on performance against metrics that matter — event registrations, membership conversions, qualified engagement — not vanity numbers Meet with us once per month to review results, refine strategy, and align on upcoming priorities WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR 3+ years of hands-on B2B social media experience with a portfolio that demonstrates consistently polished, brand-aligned work A meticulous writer and editor — typos, clunky phrasing, and off-brand visuals are immediate dealbreakers in this role Fluency with Canva and Zoho Social (or strong experience on a comparable platform plus the ability to get up to speed quickly on Zoho) A track record of moving real business metrics, with examples you can walk us through Comfortable working within an established brand system rather than overriding it with your own aesthetic HOW WE WORK — PLEASE READ ***BEFORE APPLYING*** We've been burned before by agencies and solo contractors who pitched experienced talent and then quietly handed the actual work off to junior staff. The result was typos in published posts, graphics that didn't match our brand, and a lot of time spent on our end cleaning up work we were paying someone else to do. The person who signs the contract is the person who does the work. If you're a solo consultant, that's you. If you're part of an agency, we need to know specifically who is writing the posts and designing the graphics on our account, and that person needs to stay on our account. We're happy to pay a fair rate for senior-level work; we're not willing to pay senior rates for junior output.
