BIM Architect | Revit Expert | Scan-to-BIM | CAD/PDF to Revit Modeling

I am looking for an experienced Revit drafter/modeler to convert existing PDF architectural plans, elevations, and other available project documents into a clean, accurate Revit model using my provided Revit template. The project includes creating a Revit model from the documents provided, including floor plans, all accessible exterior elevations, wall layouts, doors, windows, roof forms, floor/ceiling levels, and other visible architectural elements. The goal is to create a usable architectural Revit model that can be developed further for design, documentation, and possibly renderings later. This is not just a simple CAD trace. I need someone who understands architectural drawings, construction assemblies, wall types, dimensions, levels, elevations, wall thicknesses, openings, rooflines, and how to build a model correctly in Revit. Scope of Work: Use my provided Revit template as the basis for the model Review all provided PDF architectural plans, elevations, and related documents Set up the Revit file with appropriate levels, views, and organization within the provided template Model exterior and interior walls using appropriate wall types and construction logic Add doors, windows, openings, stairs, floors, ceilings, and roof forms as shown or reasonably inferable from the documents Create/model all elevations that are accessible through the documents provided Coordinate the plans, elevations, roof forms, and openings so they align properly Use construction knowledge to make reasonable modeling decisions where drawings are incomplete, while clearly noting any assumptions or questions Maintain clean Revit organization, using appropriate families, view setup, naming, and template standards Set up the model cleanly enough that it could potentially be used for renderings in a later phase Provide a clean, organized Revit file at completion Deliverables: Revit model file created in my provided template Basic floor plan views All exterior elevation views accessible from the provided documents Basic 3D view for review Notes/questions regarding missing, unclear, or conflicting information Summary of any assumptions made regarding wall types, construction assemblies, roof forms, or unclear conditions Possible Future Work: There may be a later phase for exterior and/or interior renderings, depending on the quality of the Revit model and the project needs. Rendering experience is a plus, but the first priority is an accurate and well-organized Revit model. Requirements: Strong Revit experience Experience working in a provided Revit template Ability to follow existing template standards rather than creating a file from scratch Experience converting PDF architectural drawings into Revit models Ability to read residential architectural plans, elevations, wall sections, and related project documents Good understanding of construction, wall types, assemblies, openings, floor/ceiling levels, and roof forms Attention to accuracy, alignment, proportions, wall thicknesses, rooflines, and clean file organization Ability to communicate clearly if dimensions, wall types, or conditions are unclear
