​Backend Automation Engineer (n8n / Make.com) – Recruitment CRM & AI Integrations

​We are an automation agency scaling our delivery footprint in the recruitment and talent acquisition space. We are looking to build a long-term partnership with an expert Backend Automation Engineer who specializes in workflow optimization, custom API bridges, and AI parsing systems. ​What we are building: We design operational engines for recruitment agencies that eliminate manual administrative grunt work. Typical projects involve capturing inbound candidate data, routing it through an AI node (like OpenAI) to structure skills and experience, and syncing that payload cleanly into enterprise recruitment ATS platforms via REST APIs (e.g., Bullhorn, Loxo, Greenhouse). ​Required Technical Stack & Skills: ​Mastery of n8n or Make.com for building multi-step operational workflows. ​Strong experience working with complex, tiered REST APIs, OAuth authentication, and handling rate limits. ​Practical knowledge of integrating LLMs (GPT/Claude) for data extraction and hyper-personalized sequencing. ​Solid understanding of data security and structuring clean audit trails for data compliance (GDPR/CCPA frameworks). ​Application Requirement (Crucial): To be considered for an interview, you must provide a brief overview or case study of a complex CRM integration, data syncing pipeline, or recruitment workflow you have previously built. Please protect data privacy by anonymizing any client-sensitive text. This is an initial 1–3 month fixed-term project to build and deploy the core automation engine. However, for the right engineer, there is a strong opportunity to transition into an ad-hoc, hourly support role for system maintenance and updates as we bring on more clients.
