Senior Full Stack Engineer – Google Cloud, Firebase & AI (Healthcare Startup) About Us Nurevo is an AI-powered healthcare startup building a platform that helps users understand medical bills, organize healthcare information, manage insurance, and interact with an AI healthcare assistant. We're looking for an experienced backend engineer to help us build the foundation of our platform. What We Need We have the frontend built in Base44 and now need an experienced engineer to design and build the backend infrastructure. You'll be responsible for creating a secure, scalable backend that powers the application and prepares it for handling sensitive healthcare information. Responsibilities Design and build a backend using Google Cloud and Firebase Architect a scalable backend infrastructure Design secure REST APIs Implement user authentication and authorization Configure Firebase/Firestore and Cloud Storage Integrate Gmail API and Google Calendar API Build secure OAuth 2.0 authentication flows Connect the frontend (Base44) to the backend Design the application with security and future HIPAA readiness in mind Implement file uploads for medical bills and healthcare documents Build AI API integrations Document the backend architecture Required Experience Google Cloud Platform Firebase / Firestore Cloud Functions or Cloud Run REST APIs OAuth 2.0 Google APIs (Gmail & Calendar) Authentication API Security Backend Architecture Node.js, TypeScript, Python, or Go Nice to Have Experience with healthcare applications Experience handling sensitive user data HIPAA knowledge AI integrations (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, etc.) Current Stack Base44 (Frontend) Google Cloud Firebase Gmail API Google Calendar API AI integrations Stripe Goal We want to build a backend that powers Nurevo's AI healthcare platform while keeping the architecture secure, scalable, and easy to maintain.
