Backend Performance & Load Testing Expert Needed

We’re looking for a Backend Performance Testing Specialist to analyze, stress test our backend Node.js-based system. ## 🧠 What You’ll Do * Design and execute load/stress tests using simple cloud-based testing platforms such as Loader.io or similar browser-based tools that do not require any installation * Configure testing scenarios so they can be easily rerun by non-technical team members without installing software * Prepare and push realistic mock/test data into the system before performance testing * Simulate traffic spikes and gradual traffic increases to validate auto-scaling behavior * Identify system bottlenecks and breaking points under high concurrency * Measure end-to-end response times and system performance under load * Analyze throughput and latency trends as traffic increases * Determine the maximum number of concurrent users the platform can support before performance degradation occurs ## 📦 Deliverables * Load-testing setup and documentation using browser-based tools that can be reused by the team * Detailed latency and throughput reports * Auto-scaling validation report (trigger accuracy, timing, cold starts) * Concurrent user capacity report, including: * Maximum stable concurrent users * Performance at different traffic levels * Breaking points and failure scenarios * Response-time trends under load * Final summary with prioritized recommendations for improving scalability and performance ## ✅ Requirements * Strong experience with Node.js backend performance analysis * Experience using cloud-based load-testing platforms such as Loader.io, or similar no-installation solutions * Experience preparing and importing realistic test/mock data for performance testing * Ability to create testing workflows that non-technical team members can easily rerun * Strong reporting and documentation skills
