UK-Based Digital Forensic Examiner & Expert Witness for Long-Term Partnership

Elite Digital Forensics, a U.S.-based digital forensic firm serving attorneys, businesses, government agencies, and individuals, is seeking an experienced digital forensic examiner or boutique digital forensic firm physically based in the United Kingdom for a potential long-term subcontracting relationship. We are expanding our international service capabilities and are looking for a trusted UK-based forensic professional who can support matters involving digital evidence, local evidence acquisition, forensic examination, expert reports, litigation support, and expert witness testimony when required. This is not a full-time employment position or a one-time project. We are seeking to establish an ongoing professional relationship for future UK-based cases generated and managed by Elite Digital Forensics. Potential services may include: • Computer forensic acquisition and examination • Mobile phone forensic acquisition and examination • Review and analysis of existing forensic extractions • Digital evidence analysis • Cloud, email, and social media forensics • Litigation and criminal defense support • Preparation of forensic reports and exhibits • Local collection and preservation of digital evidence • Expert witness testimony, when qualified and appropriate • Collaboration with our U.S.-based forensic team on cross-border matters Preferred qualifications: • Physically based in the United Kingdom • Professional experience conducting digital forensic examinations • Experience supporting solicitors, barristers, law firms, businesses, law enforcement, or courts • Experience preparing forensic reports suitable for legal proceedings • Expert witness or courtroom testimony experience required • Experience with recognized forensic tools such as Cellebrite, Magnet AXIOM, X-Ways, EnCase, FTK, Oxygen, or equivalent platforms • Established chain-of-custody and evidence-handling procedures • Appropriate professional indemnity and/or cyber insurance preferred • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work independently while collaborating with an international forensic team Independent examiners and small boutique forensic firms are encouraged to apply.
