(US-Based Only) Research & Phone Outreach Specialist – Competitor Estimate Collection

We are looking for a US-based freelancer (preferably a native English speaker) to help us gather estimates from 10 competitor companies located in Dallas, TX. The job involves calling these businesses, submitting quote requests, scheduling short video consultations when available, and organizing all collected information into a clear package. 1. Phone Calls & Inquiry Submission Call 10 competitor companies in Dallas. Introduce yourself as a potential customer. Submit estimate/quote requests (phone or online form) depending on what each competitor requires. Take detailed notes for each interaction. 2. Schedule Video Consultations (When Offered) Some competitors provide video consultations. Your job is to schedule a 15–20 minute video meeting with them to discuss service needs. Expected: around 6-6 successful video consultations (because many do not offer video). 3. Conduct & Record Video Consultations Attend the video meeting as a customer and ask basic requirement questions (we will provide a simple question list). Record the meeting if allowed. If not, take detailed notes. 4. Collect Final Estimates & Proposals For each of the 10 companies: Get the official estimate/quote (PDF, email, or written format). Gather any brochures, service lists, proposals, or follow-up documents they send. Save all files in organized folders. 5. Final Deliverables A complete package containing: Call log (date, time, who you spoke with, key notes). Call recordings (if possible). Video consultation recordings (or notes if recording not possible). All 10 estimates/proposals, in PDF or email export. A summary sheet comparing all estimates side by side. Requirements Must be US-based. Native or fluent English speaker. Comfortable making phone calls and speaking with sales teams. Professional communication skills. Ability to schedule and attend short video calls. Organized and detail-oriented. Experience in mystery shopping, customer research, competitor analysis, or sales outreach is a plus.
