Beanie Design - Technical outerwear

I’m looking for an experienced headwear designer and product developer to take full ownership of creating a premium beanie for my brand, Paradise Mountain. The finished product should closely match the fit, proportions, material feel, knit quality, and overall construction of the reference beanies provided. Primary product benchmark: Arc’teryx Bird Head Toque. The Paradise Mountain design must be original, but the physical product should achieve a very similar silhouette, close-to-head fit, sizing, material quality, and premium finish. Scope of work: - Develop an original beanie design for Paradise Mountain - Determine the appropriate dimensions, knit construction, gauge, yarn, materials, and finishing - Create all production-ready technical specifications - Source and evaluate qualified manufacturers - Communicate directly with the selected manufacturer - Manage sampling, feedback, revisions, and quality control - Guide the project through final sample approval and readiness for production I will provide the brand direction, visual references, feedback, and final approvals. I am looking for someone who can take the reins on everything related to the product itself from initial concept through an approved manufacturing sample. Ideal experience: - Premium knitwear or headwear design - Technical apparel or softgoods development - Creating production-ready tech packs - Manufacturer sourcing and communication - Sample development and fit revisions - Experience with technical outdoor, streetwear, ski, or performance brands
