All business will be handled through UpWork. ** ABOUT THE JOB Mad Lads Moto is a powersports parts and accessories eCommerce store built on BigCommerce with a custom Stencil theme. We have a hard deadline to get this site Google Ads ready by June 22nd. We need an experienced BigCommerce Stencil developer who can jump in immediately, assess what needs to be done, and deliver fast. This is not a ground-up build. The theme and products are already in place. We need someone who can hit the ground running without hand holding. WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE - Homepage improvements: Hero Banner, trust elements, featured products, working links - Navigation fixes based on a provided category hierarchy document - General layout and UX improvements across the site - Product page polish: trust signals near the buy button, layout consistency - Mobile QA pass - Working within the existing custom Stencil codebase alongside our backend developer Note: Product variant grouping (same product different sizes into one listing) is a separate longer term task and is NOT part of this deadline. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR - **Industry experience will put you ahead of other applicants.** - Proven BigCommerce Stencil theme experience, non-negotiable - Strong UI/UX and design sense - HTML5, CSS, JavaScript - Someone who moves fast and communicates clearly - Ability to coordinate with a backend developer who has built custom YMM fitment functionality into the theme - Available to start immediately IMPORTANT Our backend developer has custom YMM search and fitment components integrated into the theme. You must coordinate with him before making any changes that could affect that functionality. If you break the YMM system you will be expected to fix it. THE GOAL Google Ads ready by June 22nd. PAYMENT Hourly, $30 to $60 per hour depending on experience. Include your hourly rate, your availability, and examples of BigCommerce Stencil work in your proposal.
