Summary

Job Description Overview: I am looking for an experienced Creative Producer, Transmedia Strategist, or Investigative Narrative Writer to help shape, package, and commercialize an extraordinary real-world story. I have uncovered and forensically documented a multi-billion dollar public funding and grant fraud scheme involving government pass-through agencies, Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs), and systemic non-profit capital hoarding. The investigative groundwork is complete—including audited IRS filings, state data practice requests, FOIA acknowledgments, and direct whistleblowing communications submitted to federal oversight agencies (OIG DOJ, HUD, Treasury). Now, the goal is to translate these complex financial ledgers, legal proffers, and whistleblowing evidence into compelling media assets—whether for a multi-part investigative podcast, documentary series, book proposition, or high-profile journalistic exposure. Key Responsibilities Narrative Structuring: Take dense forensic financial data, tax returns (IRS Form 990s), and federal/state regulatory filings and translate them into a gripping, accessible story structure. Media Packaging & Pitching: Develop pitch decks, treatment summaries, or series bibles targeted at major publishers, podcast networks, production houses, or investigative media outlets. Monetization Strategy: Advise on the best avenues to monetize this IP across multiple platforms (docuseries, books, investigative journalism series, etc.). Collaboration: Work directly with the primary whistleblower/investigator to maintain factual accuracy while maximizing dramatic hook and public engagement. Preferred Qualifications Proven track record as a Creative Producer, Development Executive, Transmedia Producer, or Investigative Ghostwriter/Journalist. Strong background or comfort working with true crime, financial crime, whistleblowing narratives, or institutional exposes. Experience packaging intellectual property (IP) for TV, streaming, film, or podcast production networks. Exceptional story-crafting ability, with an understanding of how to turn complex legal and audit documents into a high-stakes narrative human story. How to Apply In your proposal, please provide: A short intro detailing your relevant experience with financial, true-crime, or investigative media/storytelling projects. Examples or links to past projects, pitch decks, published works, or media packages you’ve developed or produced. Your initial thoughts on how you would approach packaging a high-stakes, real-time investigative exposure.
