Bilingual Customer Service - Intake

Job Summary: The Bilingual Intake Specialist plays a critical role in welcoming potential clients, collecting key information about their legal needs, and ensuring a seamless intake experience. This person will conduct phone and in-person consultations in both Haitian Creole and English, screen for case eligibility, enter case details into our CRM system, and assist in scheduling legal consultations. Key Responsibilities: Answer inbound calls, emails, and messages from prospective clients in both Haitian Creole and English Conduct intake interviews to screen for eligibility for immigration legal services (asylum, TPS, family petitions, removal defense, etc.) Accurately enter client data into CRM platforms such as Clio Grow, Lawmatics, or similar systems Schedule consultations for attorneys and follow up on pending leads Translate and interpret legal information from English to Haitian Creole (verbally and in writing) Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor in high-stress or sensitive client interactions Provide clients with clear instructions on what to bring to consultations Track pending matters and send reminders to clients for missing documents Coordinate with the legal team regarding client onboarding and file opening Qualifications: Fluent in Haitian Creole and English (written and spoken) Minimum 1-2 years of experience in client-facing roles; law firm or immigration intake experience strongly preferred Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills Familiarity with immigration processes is a strong plus Experience with Clio, Lawmatics, or similar CRM/case management tools preferred High attention to detail, especially when inputting client data Compassionate and culturally sensitive to the needs of Haitian immigrant communities Preferred Traits: Ability to work independently and as part of a team Positive attitude and willingness to learn immigration legal concepts Discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information Comfort with technology and multi-tasking in a fast-paced legal environment
