Summary

We are looking for someone who can think and communicate comfortably within a medical and scientific environment—someone who hears terminology such as GLP-1 receptor agonist, secretagogue, peptide signaling, or cellular repair and understands the underlying conversation rather than simply translating individual words. If you have professional simultaneous interpretation experience and genuine expertise in peptide science, we encourage you to apply. We are looking for an experienced English ↔ Spanish simultaneous medical interpreter capable of providing accurate, natural, real-time interpretation during [live meetings / webinars / consultations]. The ideal candidate combines exceptional bilingual communication skills with a strong working knowledge of medicine, biochemistry, and peptide science. You should be comfortable listening to a medical or scientific professional speaking at a natural conversational pace and simultaneously conveying the message in the target language without losing important clinical context, scientific terminology, nuance, or meaning. Because our conversations may include detailed discussions of peptides such as Semaglutide, Tirzepatide, BPC-157, TB-500, Ipamorelin, CJC-1295, GHK-Cu, and other commonly discussed peptides, prior experience with this subject matter is highly preferred. 4. Key Responsibilities • Provide professional real-time simultaneous interpretation from English to Spanish and Spanish to English during [live meetings / webinars / consultations]. • Accurately interpret complex medical, biochemical, scientific, and healthcare terminology. • Clearly communicate discussions involving peptide mechanisms, potential therapeutic applications, clinical evidence, marketed benefits, limitations, and relevant safety or regulatory considerations. • Understand and accurately interpret terminology related to concepts such as: o Peptide hormones o Secretagogues o Bioregulators o Cellular signaling o Tissue and cellular repair o Growth hormone pathways o GLP-1 and GIP pathways o Metabolic health o Body composition o Recovery and regenerative medicine • Maintain the speaker's original intent, tone, level of certainty, and scientific meaning rather than simplifying or embellishing medical claims. • Distinguish appropriately between established clinical evidence, emerging research, and commercially marketed claims when those distinctions are made by the speaker. • Prepare in advance by reviewing presentations, terminology lists, product information, clinical materials, or speaker notes when provided. • Maintain strict professionalism and confidentiality regarding all discussions and proprietary information. • Communicate naturally enough that Spanish-speaking and English-speaking audiences experience the presentation as seamlessly as possible. 5. Required Qualifications & Skills Applicants should meet the following requirements: • Native or bilingual professional fluency in both English and Spanish. • Demonstrated professional experience providing simultaneous, real-time medical interpretation. • Excellent listening comprehension and the ability to interpret accurately while speakers are presenting at a natural pace. • Advanced familiarity with medical terminology, physiology, biochemistry, pharmacology, or related life sciences. • Strong understanding of peptide science and peptide-related terminology. • Ability to explain and interpret concepts involving secretagogues, bioregulators, signaling peptides, metabolic peptides, and cellular/tissue repair peptides. • Familiarity with commonly discussed peptides and peptide-related compounds, including examples such as: o Semaglutide o Tirzepatide o BPC-157 o TB-500 o Ipamorelin o CJC-1295 o GHK-Cu o Other commonly used or discussed peptides in the wellness, metabolic health, longevity, or regenerative medicine markets • Familiarity with the mechanisms, commonly discussed benefits, research landscape, and appropriate scientific terminology surrounding these compounds. • Ability to differentiate between compounds with established clinical uses and those primarily discussed in research, compounded-medication, wellness, or investigational contexts. • Excellent professional communication, pronunciation, pacing, and presentation skills. • Dependable high-speed internet connection and professional-quality audio equipment for remote interpretation. • Ability to maintain accuracy under the time pressure associated with live simultaneous interpretation. Please note: General conversational Spanish fluency alone is not sufficient for this position. We are specifically seeking candidates with professional medical interpretation experience and meaningful knowledge of peptide science. 6. Preferred Qualifications The following qualifications are considered a strong plus: • Certified Medical Interpreter (CMI) credential. • NBCMI certification or comparable professional medical interpretation credential. • Degree or professional background in medicine, nursing, pharmacy, biology, biochemistry, physiology, biotechnology, or another life-sciences discipline. • Previous interpretation experience involving: o Physicians o Medical providers o Pharmacists o Researchers o Healthcare educators o Telehealth organizations o Wellness or longevity clinics o Peptide or hormone-related medical programs • Previous experience interpreting live webinars, medical presentations, educational events, or physician-led consultations. • Working knowledge of terminology commonly used within metabolic health, GLP-1 therapies, regenerative medicine, longevity medicine, hormone optimization, and peptide therapy.
