Job Details Role: Russian–English Translator Experience: 1–3 Years Location: Kuala Lumpur - Malaysia Employment Type: Part-Time / Short-Term Culture: Transparent, fast-paced, patient-focused and growth-oriented ROLE OVERVIEW We are seeking a dedicated, empathetic, and proactive Russian–English Translator in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to support and to assist an international patient during their medical visit. The interpreter will support communication between the Russian-speaking patient and English-speaking medical staff, ensuring that information is communicated clearly and accurately. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Provide Russian ↔ English interpretation during hospital/clinic visits and consultations. 2. Assist the patient in communicating with doctors, nurses, hospital staff, and other relevant personnel. 3. Accurately interpret medical information, instructions, questions, and responses. 4. Help the patient understand appointment procedures, treatment-related information and general instructions. 5. Accompany the patient to medical appointments when required. 6. Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism regarding patient information. 7. Provide interpretation support through phone/video calls when required. 8. Be available on a flexible, part-time basis during the patient's stay. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR 1. Fluent in Russian and English (spoken communication is essential). 2. Must be currently based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. 3. Previous experience in medical/healthcare interpretation is preferred. 4. General understanding of medical terminology is an advantage. 5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 6. Professional, reliable, and punctual. 7. Able to work with international patients and medical professionals. 8.
