Bilingual Video Editor (French & English) - long term

We're seeking for a talented bilingual video editor fluent in both French and English to join our creative team. The ideal candidate has a strong background in video editing and a passion for crafting compelling, high-quality content that resonates with both language audiences. Responsibilities: - Edit and assemble video footage for youtube. - Add accurate subtitles in both French and English - Maintain brand consistency and high production standards - Collaborate with our content and creative teams to bring stories to life What We're Looking For: - Fluency in both French and English (spoken and written) - Proven experience with adobe premiere. We use frame.io to give you feedback on your work. - A creative eye for visual storytelling, pacing, and detail. Ideally, you've worked on a documentary before, it shows you have strong storytelling skills. - Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines. Proactive communication (tell in advance if an issue arises), What We’re Not Looking For: Our previous editor struggled with slow response times, poor communication, and overused visual effects that distracted from the message. We are not interested in overly stylized edits. Deadlines matter. If you commit to delivering a first version on a specific day, you deliver on that day.
