Blockchain Tech Lead – Decentralized E-commerce Platform & Native Token

We're building a decentralized e-commerce platform from the ground up. The idea is straightforward. Buyers and sellers should be able to transact with fewer intermediaries, lower fees, and more transparency than traditional marketplaces offer today. Blockchain is a core part of the platform, but we're trying to be practical about it. We're not interested in putting everything on-chain just because we can. We want to use blockchain where it creates real value — payments, settlement, rewards, staking, governance, and ownership. Alongside the platform, we're building a native token that will be used across the ecosystem. The token supports payments, incentives, staking, and community participation. The goal is to build a product people actually use, with the token supporting that activity. We're currently at the PoC stage and looking for a Blockchain Tech Lead to help us move from early concepts to a production-ready platform. What You'll Be Working On This role sits between architecture and implementation. We're looking for someone who can think through technical decisions but is also comfortable getting hands-on when needed. You'll be involved in: - Leading blockchain development across the platform - Designing and reviewing smart contract architecture - Building token-related functionality including payments, rewards, staking, and governance - Working with frontend and backend developers to connect on-chain and off-chain systems - Helping make decisions around scalability, security, infrastructure, and performance - Reviewing code and establishing development standards - Helping grow and guide the blockchain development team over time What We're Looking For - Strong experience with Solidity and EVM ecosystems - Experience building and deploying production smart contracts - Good understanding of token systems, staking mechanisms, and on-chain incentives - Ability to balance technical quality with practical product needs - Experience working in startup or early-stage environments - Comfortable taking ownership and making decisions Why This Role We're still early enough that major technical decisions haven't been locked in. You'll have the opportunity to influence how the platform is built, how the token ecosystem works, and how the blockchain infrastructure evolves as the product grows.
