Blockchain architect for DEX development

I'm seeking an experienced Blockchain Architect to design and guide the technical architecture of a Decentralized Exchange (DEX). The position requires hands-on expertise in blockchain system design, smart contract architecture, security planning, and scalability strategy. The architect will define the overall on-chain and off-chain structure, including smart contracts for swaps, liquidity pools, fees, and reward mechanisms. Responsibilities include selecting suitable blockchain networks, designing upgradeability and gas-optimization strategies, and ensuring secure contract interactions. Close collaboration with smart contract, frontend, and backend developers is expected to support wallet integration and protocol stability. Strong experience with Solidity, EVM-compatible blockchains, and DeFi protocols is required. Prior involvement in DEX, AMM, or order-book-based systems is essential, along with a solid understanding of smart contract security vulnerabilities and mitigation techniques. Familiarity with development tools such as Hardhat or Foundry is expected. Deliverables The engagement includes a complete DEX architecture design document, smart contract architecture specifications, security and scalability strategies, and ongoing technical guidance during development and audit preparation. Engagement Remote role with flexible hours. Payment structure may be hourly or fixed price, with potential for extended collaboration.
