Blog & SEO Assistant Needed for Wedding Photography Website

Summary

Hi! I’m a wedding and portrait photographer looking for a blog and SEO assistant to help me publish more consistent, SEO-friendly blog content. I already have an SEO strategy and general blog structure in place, but I need help with the production side so I can get more posts published without doing every step myself. The work may include: * Preparing blog posts from wedding, engagement, portrait, family, and mini session galleries * Selecting strong images from galleries for blog posts * Resizing and preparing images for web * Renaming image files with SEO-friendly file names * Uploading and formatting blog posts in my website backend * Writing or refining simple blog copy based on notes I provide * Adding headings, internal links, calls to action, and FAQs * Writing SEO titles, meta descriptions, URL slugs, and alt text * Updating older blog posts with improved formatting, internal links, or refreshed content * Creating Pinterest pin titles and descriptions from blog content * Helping keep blog content organized in a tracking spreadsheet Most blog posts will be based on photography sessions, wedding venues, Ottawa/Gatineau photo locations, mini sessions, and helpful planning tips for clients. I’m looking for someone who is detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable following templates and SOPs. You do not need to create the full SEO strategy, but you should understand basic on-page SEO and be comfortable writing clean, natural English. Experience with photography businesses, wedding blogs, SEO-friendly blog formatting, Pinterest, image optimization, and website platforms such as WordPress, Showit, Squarespace, or similar is a strong asset. This will start with a small paid test project. If it’s a good fit, there is potential for ongoing year-round work. Please include: 1. Examples of blog posts or SEO content you’ve worked on 2. Your experience with blog formatting and basic SEO 3. Whether you’ve worked with photographers, wedding vendors, or creative businesses before 4. What website platforms you’re comfortable using 5. Your experience with image optimization, alt text, and internal linking 6. Your hourly rate and general availability 7.
