Bluebeam Brickwork & Blockwork Markup - New Build Residential
Worldwide
Job Summary Bluebeam Revu markup and measurement of all brickwork and blockwork on a new-build residential project with curved wall sections - a larger, more complex scope than our typical single-dwelling takeoff. This is a measure-only job - no estimating, pricing, or client contact required. Once markups are delivered, the job goes to our internal estimator for structuring. Scope of Work Measure all brick and block work per the drawings using our standard Bluebeam markup conventions: Masonry mix on this job: 110mm brick, 140 Series block, and 290 Series block. There is no wall schedule, and the drawings use incorrect hatching for blockwork so please do not rely on hatch pattern to identify wall type. Identify masonry type by measured wall thickness instead: 110mm → brick 150mm → 140 Series block (reads 10mm over true size on these drawings, treat as 140 Series) 300mm → 290 Series block (same, treat as 290 Series) All blockwork is to be assumed core-filled unless the drawings clearly note otherwise Subject field: wall type/thickness code (from wall schedule, or a sensible fallback e.g. "110mm brick," "190mm core fill block" if no schedule reference exists). If a brick or block product is named on the drawings, include it here too, e.g. "110mm Common Bricks," "Krause Empress Mini," "Bowral Capitol Red 50" Depth field: wall height, and opening height where applicable Label field: wall location, e.g. "Living Room," "North Retaining Wall," "Ensuite" Deductions: separate annotations only, never netted into wall totals. Use the Length tool, labelled "Opening" Use the provided .btx tool chest for markup types Return the PDF unflattened so all markup data stays editable/queryable on our end Please note: We have experienced steady growth and have ongoing work - we are looking to create a relationship with whoever is awarded this job.
