Bodily Injury Damages Team Member

As a Bodily Injury Damages Legal Assistant, you'll build the complete damages picture for each client's personal injury claim. Core responsibilities include: - Requesting and retrieving medical records, itemized billing statements, and future medical estimates for all client treatment. - Notifying medical providers of health insurance coverages and retrieving initial subrogation information and medical liens. - Retrieving and updating invoices for medical records and property damage appraisals. - Managing all damages documentation — proper file naming, redactions, and organization within the case management system. - Retrieving wage loss documentation and calculating time spent receiving medical treatment. - Calculating loss of future earning capacity where applicable. - Gathering pain and suffering statements from clients. Success in this role means accuracy, consistency, and strong follow-through — coordinating with medical providers and internal teams to keep cases moving and ensure attorneys have a complete, well-organized damages file ready for demand.
