Book Cover File Formatting for Print (Paperback & Hardcover) – Urgent Quick Turnaround

I'm looking for an experienced book designer or prepress specialist to prepare my existing children's picture book cover files for commercial printing. Please note: The cover has already been designed. I am not looking for a redesign or new artwork. Despite several revisions, the files are still not meeting my printer's specifications, which is delaying production. I'm looking for someone who is confident troubleshooting print-ready files and can ensure everything is set up correctly. Deliverables Prepare two print-ready cover files: Paperback cover (front, spine, and back) Hardcover cover (front, spine, and back) I will provide: The existing cover artwork Paperback and hardcover printer templates Any required fonts or linked assets The successful freelancer will: Format the artwork to both printer templates Ensure bleed, trim, spine width, margins, and layout meet the printer's specifications Make any minor adjustments needed for proper alignment and print readiness Deliver final print-ready PDF files for both editions Requirements Experience preparing book covers for commercial printing Strong understanding of prepress and print production Excellent attention to detail Able to start immediately Quick turnaround preferred (24–48 hours if possible) When applying, please include: Examples of print-ready book covers you've prepared Your estimated turnaround time Confirmation that you're comfortable working from an existing design rather than creating a new one I'm hoping to hire someone as soon as possible so I can move forward with printing without any further delays.
