Book Cover Production Designer (Paperback + Hardcover + eBook) – Existing Design

Summary We're looking for an experienced book cover production designer** to prepare the remaining publishing assets for a nonfiction book. The front cover has already been professionally designed. This is not a project to redesign the cover or develop a new creative direction. We need someone who can seamlessly extend the existing design across the remaining publishing formats while maintaining the same premium aesthetic. The immediate priority is the paperback wraparound cover, with the opportunity to also complete the hardcover wraparound and ebook cover. --- Scope of Work Paperback (Priority) * Design the back cover using our finalized copy and author bio. * Match the typography, spacing, visual hierarchy, and tone of the existing front cover. * Update the spine using the finalized page count and Amazon KDP template. * Prepare a print-ready PDF that meets Amazon KDP specifications. * Deliver updated editable source files. Hardcover (Preferred) If you have experience with Amazon KDP hardcover templates, we'd also like: * Hardcover wraparound layout using the existing design. * Proper spine sizing and hinge/flap positioning where required. * Print-ready production files. eBook If you also prepare ebook covers: * Create the ebook cover based on the existing front cover design. * Export according to Amazon KDP ebook specifications. --- What We'll Provide Everything needed to complete the project, including: * Editable Adobe InDesign source files. * Finalized front cover. * Final back cover description. * Author bio. * ISBN. * Amazon KDP paperback templates. * Final trim size and page count. * Brand direction and design references. The design direction has already been established.
