Book Designer – Amazon KDP Books & A+ Content (Freelance / Ongoing Work)

We are looking for an experienced and creative Book Designer to work on a range of books for Amazon publishing, including educational workbooks, children’s books, colouring books, activity books, and journals. This is an ongoing freelance role with regular projects for the right person. About the Role You will be responsible for designing book covers, book interiors, and Amazon A+ Content for Amazon KDP books. The books include language learning workbooks, children’s educational books, activity books, and colouring books. You will work closely with the publisher to create clean, professional, and highly marketable book designs suitable for Amazon. Responsibilities Design book covers (paperback and Kindle) Format book interiors (workbooks, activity books, educational books, children’s books) Create Amazon A+ Content (mandatory) Create marketing graphics for Amazon listings Prepare print-ready PDF files for Amazon KDP Ensure books meet Amazon KDP formatting requirements Maintain consistent branding across book series Make revisions based on feedback Organise files and maintain version control Work on multiple books and series Requirements Experience in book cover design Experience in book interior formatting Experience creating Amazon A+ Content (essential) Strong skills in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Canva or similar Good typography and layout skills Understanding of Amazon KDP requirements Attention to detail Ability to follow style guidelines Good communication skills Reliable internet connection Able to start immediately Nice to Have Experience with children’s books Experience with workbooks and educational books Illustration skills Experience designing book series branding Understanding of Amazon book marketing To Apply Please send: Portfolio (book covers, interiors, and A+ content) Examples of Amazon A+ content you created Your hourly rate or per-project rate Your availability Estimated turnaround time for a book cover, interior, and A+ content This is ongoing work with multiple books planned, so we are looking for someone reliable, organised, and creative.
