Book Designer / Illustrator with Tarot Knowledge — Luxury 325 page Tarot Reference Book

I'm the author of Tarot Meanings & Symbols, a high-end tarot reference book (8.5" × 11", full colour, 336 pages) in late-stage production. It's laid out in PDF already, but not to a professional standard, and I want to move on from the current design. I'm looking for a designer to develop the visual direction and page design system. It's based on the traditional Rider-Waite-Smith deck, and I need someone who genuinely understands tarot symbolism — not just someone who can make a page look pretty, but someone who knows why the imagery matters. The feel should be modern and luxurious: clean, elegant, gold as the primary accent on a white or near-white base. Coffee-table quality, for a discerning reader. Scope Every card gets four pages (two Meanings, two Symbols), plus front and back matter (contents, an "About Tarot" section, index, cheat sheet). I need: -A polished design direction and template system for the repeating card spreads, consistent across all 78 cards. -Design of the front and back matter pages. I'll provide the current design and a brief with two colour palettes and clear direction. You should have -A strong portfolio of book, editorial, or high-end print design. -Real working knowledge of tarot and its symbolism. -An eye for restrained, elegant layout — not mystical or cluttered. -Experience preparing files for professional print (CMYK / spot colour / Pantone a plus). -Naive English speaker, so we don't end up with typos!
