Book Designer Needed - Interior Layout + Cover Design for Interview Collection

I’m looking for an experienced book designer to help prepare a nonfiction interview-based book for publication. Project Overview The book is a collection of interviews with Disney Legends, originally conducted for my podcast over the past 20+ years. The manuscript is largely complete and consists primarily of edited interview transcripts, chapter introductions, and supporting front/back matter. Scope of Work 1. Interior Book Design & Formatting * Design a clean, professional interior layout for print and digital editions * Create a consistent chapter-opening template * Format interview transcripts for readability * Style headings, subheadings, pull quotes (if appropriate), and other design elements * Incorporate black-and-white portrait illustrations/headshots at the beginning of each chapter * Design front matter and back matter sections * Ensure proper typography, spacing, margins, page numbering, and overall book flow * Prepare print-ready files and digital/eBook-ready files 2. Cover Design * Design a professional front cover, spine, and back cover for print * Create a matching digital/eBook cover * Work from existing branding, concepts, and direction provided * Prepare final files according to printer specifications Deliverables * Print-ready PDF (interior) * eBook-ready formatted files (EPUB and/or Kindle format preferred) * Print-ready full cover wrap (front, spine, back) * Digital/eBook cover * Source files (InDesign preferred) Ideal Candidate * Strong experience with nonfiction book design * Experience formatting interview-based, memoir, biography, or business books * Excellent typography and layout skills * Proficiency with Adobe InDesign * Ability to provide examples of previously published books ⭐️ NOTE: PROJECT MUST BE COMPLETE BY JULY 10 To Apply Please include: 1.
