Book Formatting for KDP Kindle Publication

Project Summary I am looking for an experienced ebook formatter to convert my published hardcover book into a professional Kindle edition for Amazon KDP. The print edition has already been professionally formatted and published. The task is to produce a clean, well-formatted Kindle version that displays correctly across Kindle devices and the Kindle apps. The book is a trilogy of three volumes. Each is around 350 pages, and is a work of philosophy with occasional mathematical notation, diagrams, and structured layouts. Scope of Work The successful freelancer will: Convert the existing manuscript into Kindle-compatible format (EPUB/KDP). Ensure all chapter headings and navigation are correctly structured. Generate a working table of contents. Preserve formatting as faithfully as possible while optimising for Kindle's reflowable layout. Ensure diagrams, equations, and other non-standard elements display correctly. Test the ebook using Kindle Previewer. Deliver the final files ready for upload to Amazon KDP. Requirements Essential: Previous experience formatting books for Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP). Excellent attention to detail. Strong understanding of Kindle formatting best practices. Ability to produce a polished, professional result. Desirable: Experience formatting academic, philosophical, or non-fiction books. Familiarity with mathematical notation and technical layouts. Files Provided I will provide: The original Word manuscript. The published print PDF for reference. Any images or diagrams used in the book. The existing cover artwork if required. Deliverables Final EPUB (or Kindle-ready format). Source files used to produce the ebook. Confirmation that the book passes Kindle Previewer without formatting issues.
