Book Launch Discoverability & Amazon Optimization Services Agreement

Project: Touched by the Stars: Beyond UFOs, Extraordinary Encounters, Cosmic Science, and Humanity’s Future in a Living Cosmos Monthly Retainer: $300 per month Term: Month-to-month. Either party may terminate with seven (7) days written notice. TIMING is Key - June 23 Book Launches - so all keywords and optimization must be in place by the 22nd. PROJECT PURPOSE The purpose of this engagement is to maximize the discoverability, positioning, and sales potential of Touched by the Stars through professional optimization of Amazon KDP, IngramSpark metadata, categories, keywords, advertising, and related publishing platforms. Audience: 1. UFO/UAP readers – 2. Consciousness Readers – 3. Science & Spirituality Readers 4. Similar author readers – NOTE: Diana Pasulka book “American Cosmic” is very close! To my title. NOTE: This book is much more than a simple UFO book – it lies at the intersection of consciousness/extraterrestrial contact/Metaphysics. There needs to be a lot of thought put into this so I have listed some potential keywords to provide a start. AUTHOR RESPONSIBILITIES The Author will retain responsibility for: • ARC recruitment and management • Newsletter communications • Podcast outreach and interviews • Media appearances • Marketing copy and editorial decisions • Uploading files and publishing assets • Creation of graphics, videos, and promotional materials • Approval of advertising budgets FREELANCER RESPONSIBILITIES The Freelancer will focus on technical publishing optimization and platform management. Required Deliverables: 1. Metadata Optimization • Review title, subtitle, description, categories, and positioning • Analyze competing books within the UFO, consciousness, spirituality, metaphysics, and transformative nonfiction markets • Recommend optimized metadata for Amazon and IngramSpark 2. Category Research • Identify all relevant Amazon categories • Identify additional niche categories suitable for manual KDP requests • Provide written category recommendations 3. Keyword Research • Research and recommend high-volume, relevant search terms • Analyze keyword competitiveness • Deliver a master keyword spreadsheet 4. Amazon Optimization • Optimize Amazon listing • Optimize backend keyword fields • Verify Look Inside functionality • Review pricing strategy • Review product page conversion factors 5. Author Platforms • Optimize Amazon Author Central profile • Optimize Goodreads Author profile 6. Amazon Advertising • Create low-budget advertising campaigns • Monitor performance weekly • Pause non-performing keywords • Provide monthly advertising reports 7. NO GUARANTEE The Freelancer does not guarantee sales volume, rankings, reviews, media appearances, or bestseller status. Compensation is based on completion of agreed services and deliverables. PERFORMANCE EXPECTATION Success will be measured by timely completion of deliverables, quality of research, optimization recommendations, and ongoing management of Amazon discoverability and advertising efforts.
