Book Translator – English to Russian | Mindset / Non-Fiction /Self-Development

We are looking for an experienced and highly reliable English to Russian book translator for a professionally written book in the field of mindset, personal development, self-growth, and life transformation. The book is currently available in English and will now be published for the Russian-speaking market. Therefore, we are looking for a translator who does much more than translate words. We need someone who understands the emotional tone, depth, clarity, and impact of a non-fiction book and can adapt the text naturally for Russian-speaking readers. This project is especially suitable for translators who have experience with: • Non-fiction books • Self-help / personal development books • Mindset and motivation books • Biographies or autobiographical content • Coaching, psychology, entrepreneurship, or transformation topics The goal is not a literal translation. The Russian version should read as if it was originally written in Russian — powerful, natural, emotionally engaging, and professional. What we are looking for: We are looking for a translator who: • Is a native Russian speaker • Has excellent English comprehension • Has proven experience translating full-length books • Understands the tone of self-development, mindset, and inspirational non-fiction • Can preserve the author’s voice, message, emotion, and rhythm • Works carefully, reliably, and with a strong sense of quality • Can adapt expressions, idioms, and cultural nuances for Russian-speaking readers • Ideally has experience with books published on Amazon, in publishing houses, or for authors/coaches/experts Important: Please do not apply if your experience is mainly limited to short texts, websites, technical documents, or generic translation work. We are specifically looking for someone who understands book translation and can handle a manuscript with emotional depth, strong messages, and a clear reader journey. Target language: Russian. Since the book is planned for Russian-speaking readers, we are especially interested in a version that can work well for a broad Russian-speaking audience while still sounding natural, authentic, and emotionally strong.
