Bookkeeper for Monthly Invoices and Cleanup

**Bookkeeper - US S-Corp / QuickBooks Online (7-Month Cleanup + Ongoing)** We're a US-based S-corp in performance marketing looking for an experienced bookkeeper to run a one-time seven-month cleanup and then provide ongoing monthly support. We run daily ad spend across multiple platforms, so transaction volume is high — accuracy and consistency matter. **Phase 1 - One-time cleanup (seven months)** - Reconcile seven months across all bank and credit card accounts against statements - Correct our S-corp structure in QuickBooks Online: owner salary, distributions, contributions, and retained earnings recorded properly in equity (not as expenses) - Reconcile payroll (Gusto) into QBO for the cleanup period - Separate any commingled personal transactions - Rebuild the chart of accounts to fit the business - Deliver corrected monthly P&Ls and a balance sheet for the period **Phase 2 - Ongoing monthly** - Manage monthly invoicing to partners and follow up on outstanding payments (some on net-30/60 terms) - Month-end close on an accrual basis (accrual entries and adjustments) - Categorize and reconcile all accounts monthly - Record owner salary and distributions; reconcile Gusto payroll - Deliver a monthly P&L, balance sheet, and reporting **Must-have qualifications** - Proven experience with US S-corp bookkeeping - Expert in QuickBooks Online (US version) - Strong with accrual accounting and month-end close - Comfortable with high transaction volume - Experience cleaning up behind or messy books - Strong written English, responsive, and able to provide references from US-based clients **Nice to have** - Familiarity with Gusto payroll - Experience with high-volume commission / affiliate income (net payments, clawbacks, adjustments)
