Remote Bookkeeper – Business Funding / Merchant Cash Advance Experience Preferred We are a fast-growing financial services company looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Remote Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate has previous experience working with a business funding or merchant cash advance company and understands high-volume transactions, commissions, reconciliations, and financial reporting. If you have experience in this industry, we would love to hear from you. Responsibilities Maintain accurate financial records and bookkeeping. Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations. Reconcile funding transactions and client payments. Track commissions, referral payouts, and internal revenue. Record expenses, deposits, transfers, and journal entries. Prepare monthly financial reports and profit & loss statements. Assist with month-end closing procedures. Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable. Work closely with management to ensure financial accuracy. Identify discrepancies and resolve accounting issues promptly. Maintain organized financial documentation and records. Qualifications 3+ years of bookkeeping experience. Previous experience with business funding, merchant cash advance, lending, or financial services is highly preferred. Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and financial reporting. Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks Online or similar platforms. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong English communication skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. High level of integrity and confidentiality when handling financial information. Bonus Qualifications Experience tracking commissions or sales payouts. Experience reconciling large numbers of daily transactions. Understanding of ACH payments, wires, and merchant funding. Experience supporting fast-growing companies.
